Marley Perkins Education Limited (we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) when dealing with personal information. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).

We may change this policy by uploading a revised policy onto the website. The change will apply from the date that we upload the revised policy.
Who we collect your personal information from
We collect personal information about you from:
- you, when you provide that personal information to us, including via the website and any related service, through any registration or subscription process, through any contact with us (e.g. telephone call or online form), or when you buy or use our services and products
- third parties where you have authorised this or the information is publicly available.
If possible, we will collect personal information from you directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without parental consent.

We will use your personal information:

A business that supports our services and products may be located outside New Zealand. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information processed overseas is protected in a manner comparable to the Act.
We use MailerLite to manage our email marketing subscriber lists and to send emails to our subscribers. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter. You may also opt out of all marketing communications by contacting us through the website.
We may transfer your information in the case of a sale, merger, consolidation, liquidation, reorganisation or acquisition.
Protecting your personal information
We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:
- storing personal information on secure servers
- using secure connections (HTTPS) when collecting information online
- restricting access to personal information to staff or service providers who need it to perform their duties

If we think a requested correction is reasonable and we are reasonably able to change the personal information, we will make the correction. If we do not make the correction, we will take reasonable steps to note on the personal information that you requested the correction.

We may charge you our reasonable costs for providing copies of your personal information or making corrections.
Internet use
While we take reasonable steps to maintain secure internet connections, if you provide personal information over the internet, you do so at your own risk.
If you follow a link on our website to another site, that site has its own privacy policy. We suggest you review that policy before providing personal information.
Cookies and Google Analytics
We do not use cookies on this website. The only exception is Google Analytics 4, which collects anonymous information about how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on page, device type, approximate location) to help us improve our website. No personal information is collected, and IP addresses are anonymised. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
.Tracking Downloads
When visitors download the Marley Perkins calendar, we record an approximate location (such as city or region) based on their internet connection. This is used only to understand where our calendar is being accessed. No exact addresses or personal details are collected.
Reviews and comments
If you leave a review or other comment visible to readers, we may use and post it without restriction and free of charge on our website or other marketing material. You may request deletion by contacting us through the website.
